Post-secular approach to memory processes in Central-Eastern Europe

 

 

 

Two-day workshop of the Visegrad + team takes place at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University in Prague, 31 January - 2 February 2024. The goal of the workshop is to critically discuss teams' research on the entanglements of memory and religion. In their case studies, team members will refer to both existing post-secular theories and studies written by scholars from the Visegrad countries on memory and religion. We will explore the applicability of these global and local theories to memory processes. The workshop is organized by the Czech partner.

Post-secular approach to memory processes in Central-Eastern Europe

 

 

 

Three days in person workshop of Visegrad + team takes place at the Institute of History, Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava, 20 – 23 September 2023. During this workshop, the Visegrad + team will focus on the frame of the concepts of post-secular approach to memory processes in our region. Each team member will present their individual case studies. The workshop is organized by Slovakian partner.
