The Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences is pleased to announce the international workshop
“Operation of Archaeological Storage Facilities and Response to War Damage”,
to be held in Warsaw on 16–20 February 2026.
The event brings together specialists from Poland, Ukraine, Japan and Lithuania to exchange experience and discuss practical solutions concerning the management and protection of archaeological collections, particularly in the context of war-related risks and damage. Selected sessions will be available online.
